You rally have to commit fully to the idea of home schooling. It’s not for everyone but for those willing and able to go that route, it can be extremely rewarding. It’s a learning experience for tacher and student alike.

Thanks for this post. I have been considering homeschooling my guys, but was wondering how to legally go about it. There are just so many pros and cons to both traditional schools and homeschooling that I’m having trouble making my mind up!

I don’t know but i don’t think home school is the best solution. A kid won’t be so communicative as the other who will be in normal school.

Home schooling is a good way to educate child at home But home schooling is not as efficient as the original school.

Is there anything in between school and home teaching, I feel like home teaching is such a massive change to school but school isnt always right for every kid I was just wondering if there was something that was a happy medium rather than from one extreme to the next?

Excellent advice. I know a lot of people that homeschool all over the country, and I am really considering it for my son in North Carolina next year when he is supposed to start Kindergarten, which is not mandatory here.

I have been interested i the idea of homeschooling for a long time and always try and read about it when I see an article about it.

I don’t have any kids of my own but do see it as something I would consider if I did.

The main thing that worries me about the idea is the loss of interaction with other kids. Does anyone run a system where by the local home school kids will actually be joint taught by one or two of the parents on rotation throughout the week?

This could free parents up to have some free time and give the children the variety and social networking that they benefit from.

I’m so nervous about homeschooling. My oldest has no interest in reading- I keep reminding my self that is she is just about to turn 4 and I shouldn’t be pushing her. She does love to write though so I’ve been working on that.
